Why is the rainforest Geographically significant?

The rainforest is geographically significant because it is important to humans &

other living species because it filters the carbon dioxide to provide us with clean

oxygen. CO2 is pollution, cause by electricity, engines from cars and planes that

creates a warm blanket around the globe which affects our breathing. A way we

could prevent this from happening is; instead of travelling by car & other engineering transport, walk or cycle to your destinations. CO2 provides bad oxygen and its

unhealthy for us humans and living species to breathe this air. The trees in the

rainforest produces clean oxygen for us to breathe. The Amazon rainforest contains

50% of animals and it is important these animals are living in a safe environment.

One Tree Hill

One Tree Hill

One Tree Hill is a significant place because it means a lot to people in New Zealand especially Maori’s. Around the 1700 Maori bones were deposited in lava around the hill. Maori ancestors were buried on One Tree Hill. Another reason why One Tree Hill is a significant place is because of the beautiful view you get when your on the top. You get a beautiful view of Auckland. When I am there I usually see people going for runs up the hill for exercise. In 1870 a lot of native trees were re planted on the hill but only a pine tree survived. In the 1900’s the tree was attacked by Maoris and a lot of people were not happy about it. The tree was not healthy and they tried their best to save it but they had no choice but to cut it down. People visit One Tree Hill as a remembrance of the tree.

Will Smiths Well-Being

At the beginning of the scene Will was happy and excited because his uncle had
bought him a courtside ticket to the Clippers basketball game. This affected his
mental and emotional health because as he stared at the ticket his emotions slowly
started to change as he felt guilty for what he had done. It affected his social health
because he was apologising to his family and owning up to the mistake he made.
His apology came from his heart and that showed his spiritual health because
he really meant his apology and the things he said. The actions Will used really showed
how sorry he was and the tone of his voice showed how nervous he was.

The positive things that affected Will’s well-being is the way he owned up to his
mistake and how he showed maturity by being honest with his family. The negative
things that affected Will’s well-being is keeping it in and not owning up earlier before
someone got hurt. What also affected his well-being negatively is that he carried drugs
on him and had drugs with him.

The place that is significant to me is Church. It is significant to me because
I feel welcomed and safe while I'm at church. I also enjoy learning about the
teachings of our Savior Jesus Christ and the sacrifices he made for us. We
also learn about the stories of the prophets back in the day.

Another reason why this place is significant to me is because of the examples
that are set for us. We learn from Jesus Christ’s examples and we try to follow
his examples so we can be the best we can. Reading the scriptures gives us
a better knowledge and it helps strengthens our testimony about the church.

A third reason why this place is significant to me is preaching the gospel.
I enjoy preaching to those who don’t know about the gospel and giving them
a better understanding about the gospel. We also listen to the talks during
Sacrament meeting and we learn from the talks and the experiences that are
shared.
